We know what you’re thinking but stop right there. What you are looking at here isn’t the result of some crafty photoshop business - it’s the real deal; an actual factual microcar replica of a 1970 Nissan Skyline GT-R coupe that was created by Japanese tuning firm Liberty Walk Performance. The scaled down, single-seater clone of Nissan’s first-generation Skyline GT-R is based on a quad-bike and it’s perfectly drivable.

This is not the first time we’ve shown you a microcar replica from Liberty Walk Performance as some of you may remember the…Lambormini Murcielago snapped by our own Phil Alex at last year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.

Last week, we told you that the first year of production of both the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and Ferrari FF have reportedly been spoken for. Today, Lamborghini made it officially-official confirming that it has already sold more than 12 months’ production of its new flagship V12 model, deliveries of which will start in the second half of 2011.

The VW Group-owned Italian automaker also released final sales figures for last year that showed a 14 per cent drop from 2009. In particular, Lamborghini delivered a total of 1,302 units to customers worldwide in 2010, compared to 1,515 cars the previous year.

After nearly a decade of running amok in the land of hypercars, Lamborghini's Murcielago is being retired. In its place will be the Aventador, a 700-hp devil providing a whole new generation with automotive wall art and high-speed screams.

The Aventador LP 700-4, Lambo's newest top dog, hopes to build on the glorious excess of its predecessor. Fusing design cues found in the Reventón and Sesto Elemento, the Lamborghini Aventador has much in common with past Lamborghini flagships: it is named after a famous bull, packs a V12 warp drive, allows entry through a pair of scissor doors, and makes no sense as a daily driver.

It has also picked up the Murcielago's electronic air intakes due to their functionality and downright awesomeness. Broad details, however, are where the similarities stop.

There's no doubt that the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is the worst kept secret of the 81st Geneva International Motor Show. In addition to a bevy of studio shots that were leaked online in the past few days, we now have live shots of the Murcielago's replacement from Geneva, courtesy of the folks over at Autogespot.

"We have just received from a friend a few exclusive photos of the new LP700-4. It is the Grigio Estoque colorded Aventador that will be shown on the press day on the 1st of March," Emil from Autogespot told us. And well, there you have it: the new Aventador. We'll have all the juicy details in a couple of days when Lamborghini officially debuts its new flagship model at the Geneva show, but scroll down for the condensed version.

We've seen more leaks on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 than on a rusty pipe of late, so we're hardly surprised that a new set of images surfaced online today. The three fresh pictures show the Raging Bull's engine bay with the brand-new 700-horsepower 6.5-liter V12 unit, the supercar's interior and the sculptured fuel cap. Unless someone spills the beans later today or during the weekend, you'll have to wait until Monday for the full reveal at the Geneva Motor Show.

The farce of the "leaked" Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 photos continues to play on. Following the appearance of a scanned image from the Croatian edition of Evo Magazine on Wednesday, earlier today Jalopnik released a single photo only to be snarked back by Autoblog that posted a higher resolution version claiming that it knew where the photo came from but was sworn to obsessively cover the auto industry secrecy until Monday.

In the third -but certainly not final- act of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 play, Jalopnik has published two more pictures, luckily for our browsers, on its Facebook page. You can check the trio of photos by clicking this link that will forward you directly to the Facebook gallery.

Pictures of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 are floating right and left lately, with the most recent one coming from Jalopnik. The new photo reveals the Italian supercar's profile that brings to mind both the Murcielago and the edgier-shaped Reventon. If you're wondering about how the rest of the car looks like, you might have to wait until its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1, however, given the way things are going, we wouldn't be surprised if we got an early unveil within the next couple of days. Only a few hours after Lamborghini published some new photos its Murcielago replacement showing off the supercar's carbon fiber chassis and other components, and a scanned image allegedly from an upcoming issue of the Croatian edition of EVO Magazine fell into the hands of Worldcarfans. The picture of the red-colored Aventador LP700-4 appears to be real, though one can never be sure with these things.

In any case, it won't be long before we get a full disclosure on Sant'Agata's new raging bull model, which is scheduled to receive its first public outing at the upcoming Geneva Salon.

The basic numbers you need to know is that the LP700-4 will be a whopping 230kg (507 lbs) lighter than a Murcielago LP640-4 coupe at 1.575 kg (3.472 lbs) and have 60 more ponies from its brand new 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 700HP at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 690 Nm (479.4 lb-ft) at 5,500 rpm for a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

The onslaught of official photos of Lamborghini's Murcielago replacement that may or may not be called Aventador LP700-4 continues today with the release of a single picture showing the V12-powered model's rolling chassis, complete with wheels and the driver's bucket sport seat.

Edo Competition’s previous Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-tune was a 710HP monster capable of reaching a top speed of 352 km/h or 219 mph, which apparently made it the fastest and most powerful Murcielago in the world. Now, the German tuner has gone one step further by introducing a 750HP variant that continues on to a maximum velocity of 365 km/h (227 mph).

With the Geneva show just around the corner, it seems that Lamborghini has secretly released a new video of its Murcielago supercar replacement, which is expected to be called Aventador or Jota LP700-4 and will bow at the Geneva Salon next March. Although we didn’t find any official information on the footage, the quality of the clip and the fact that it contains interior shots gives it a distinctly legitimate aura.

The 700-horsepower supercar is still camouflaged, but it’s evident that it has sharper edges and sleeker lines, while new features are also revealed, includings the shape of the rear view mirrors, steering wheel and center console, richly clad in what appears to be aluminum or chromed trim. Over the past few months, Lamborghini has released several teasers displaying components of the Murcielago's replacement, rumored to be called either Aventador or Jota and set for a world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

The Italians first showed us the all-new 700HP 6.5-liter V12 engine, followed by a preview of the Formula 1-inspired pushrod suspension. Now, new information is available on the supercar’s monocoque, built entirely from carbon fiber using carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) technology.

It’s official: the much-awaited successor to the Lamborghini Murcielago (named either Aventador or Jota, depending on who you ask), will be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in early March. From the same German car dealer that listed the production version of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept for sale comes our next story on future models up for grabs. This time, exotic car dealer Auto Salon Singen is advertising the sale of the upcoming successor to the Lamborghini Murcielago, which the company names Aventador LP700-4. The forthcoming Italian supercar is listed on the site at a net price of €260,420 (US$346,500) or €309,900 (US$412,300) with 19% tax. This has been a good week for Lamborghini fans. After we saw a lightly camouflaged prototype of the Murcielago’s successor a couple of days ago, the official dealer order guide of the upcoming Italian supercar made its way onto the internet via the Teamspeed forums.

Late yesterday afternoon, photos of the Lamborghini Murcielago replacement surfaced on Facebook and were thought to be new spy shots of the upcoming Italian supercar. Eventually, word got out that the pictures were taken at an official Lamborghini event, attended by a few lucky journalists.

Unlike the real spy photos we published in October, the camouflage on this prototype is just a thin layer of tape. As well as revealing the orange paintwork, the lesser cameo also unveils many design cues. The new range-topping Lambo’s shape has been clearly inspired by the limited edition Reventon.

With modern day racing video games blurring the lines between virtuality and reality, it's no wonder some readers mistook last Friday's Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Trailer featuring a Police-livered Lamborghini Murcielago and a Pagani Zonda for a very well executed CGI when in fact it was a real-life film (see it here). An extremely well kept example of Lamborghini's made-to-order Murcielago LP640 Roadster VERSACE with only 1,211 miles (1,949 km) on the odometer, has surfaced on eBay for an asking price of $635,777 or approximately €467,758 at today's exchange rates. That's far less than the car's original one million dollar price tag.

The Roadster version of the Murcielago Versace Edition came to life in the summer of 2008, two years after the introduction of the coupe model in 2006. The Murcielago LP640 Roadster VERSACE was an "ad personam" project, meaning that Lamborghini was ready to meet any special desires that clients might have had.

Live action game trailers are nothing new. It's an easy way for developers to tease their upcoming titles without having to reveal any actual graphics or gameplay. Recent examples of this include Resident Evil 5 and Halo 3: ODST.

So there's a new trailer out for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, the latest in the NFS series and the third Hot Pursuit title. However, this trailer comes with something special: a spectacular live action realisation of the chase from the E3 reveal trailer.

In the original trailer, we see an epic chase whereby a Koenigsegg CCX, Pagani Zonda Cinque and McLaren MP4-12C are pursued by two Ford Shelby GT500s, a Bugatti Veyron, a Lamborghini Murciélago and a Bell 206 helicopter. This is all realized (presumably) with the in-game engine and is pretty sweet in itself.
